Here's Maynard's fan spec treatment/ story he wrote for Season 3 of HBO'S The Leftovers.
I found HBO's stoic & apocalyptic melodramatic has elements & themes that he enjoys to write in his own spec scripts.
Being Maynard is a Miami Remnant, he had some ideas & just could not wait till April 16th, 2017 to see the last season. This is more action minded than most Leftovers episodes... but it's chock full of character development. He didn't hold back having a creative run through the world of HBO'S The Leftovers.
Hopefully Damon Lindelof, Peter Berg, Tom Perrotta, Mimi Leder, the cast, crew have seen this as it has had close to 1500 downloads.
This fan work is based on Maynard not knowing who Burton is. He could easily be the man on the bridge. Maynard also did not know for sure what role announced actress Lindsey Duncan is playing at the time of writing this treatment.
